The end-of-season cycling event is back, to be held in the beautiful setting of the Riviera delle Palme. Two routes, evocative landscapes, lots of good organic food, excellent DOCG and DOC wines from the Piceno region, and rich prize-giving for the first 10 companies with the highest number of participants.<\/p>\n

THE EVENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Sunday, October 22, charming San Benedetto del Tronto will once again become the capital of cycling tourism thanks to the second edition of the Fondo Senza Tempo - Pedalata del Santo.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/em><\/p>\n

The event is organized by A.S.D. Bicigustando in collaboration with the San Benedetto del Tronto City Council led by Mayor Pasqualino Piunti.<\/p>\n

The beautiful\u00a0Riviera of Palms<\/strong>, therefore, will set the stage for this event, which will give all lovers of cycling without competitive anxiety the opportunity to spend a wonderful day before the winter stop.<\/p>\n

Two the\u00a0evocative trails<\/strong>\u00a0drawn by the organization: the long one of 91 km and the short one of 68 km.<\/p>\n

La\u00a0departure<\/strong>\u00a0will take place in the French style from the\u00a08 a.m. to 9 a.m. from Giorgini Square<\/strong>, where the finish line will also be placed. Headquarters of the event will be The Garden Hotel, a few meters from Giorgini Square, right in the center.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0race pack<\/strong>\u00a0participants will receive a bottle of excellent\u00a0wine\u00a0Choo Choo<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At the Giorgini traffic circle, a\u00a0cycling fair<\/strong>, with interesting exhibitors that will be a draw for professionals and amateurs. Cyclists will also find the booth\u00a0Piceno Open<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0where they will be able to receive information and taste free Piceno doc and docg wines, dop extra virgin olive oil and Ascoli olives.<\/p>\n

Also this year much attention will be paid to the food and wine aspect.<\/p>\n

At the refreshment stands will be the\u00a0Piceno Open - Vinea Qualit\u00e0 Picena<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0which will offer free tastings of docg and doc wines and products from the organic supply chain. Particular attention will be given to the refreshments located in Piazza del Popolo, a\u00a0Offida<\/strong><\/a>, where in addition to lots of good organic food there will also be entertaining music. As well as the\u00a0refreshment of Montedinove<\/strong>, not forgetting the tasty\u00a0final lunch<\/strong>, also based on local products, which will be followed by the\u00a0rich awards ceremonies<\/strong>\u00a0For corporations.<\/p>\n

To follow\u00a0MARCHE MARATHON AWARDS 2017<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0In addition, prizes will be awarded to the top 10 companies with the most entries.<\/p>\n

Appointment at\u00a0San Benedetto del Tronto<\/a><\/strong>, therefore, for this event, which, included in the program of the feast in honor of St. Benedict, will be an unmissable opportunity to greet friends and \"opponents\" before the winter break.<\/p>\n
