GROTTAMMARE AWAITS BLUE FLAG NO. 23

The Pearl of the Adriatic is nominated again this year for the prestigious award.
The FEE Italy secretariat convened its annual conference next Monday, online given the situation, to make official the top locations for the 2021 season.
Grottammare has defended the title of Blue Flag Municipality continuously since 1999. The Blue Flag is an international award given to seaside resorts with the aim of promoting sustainable land management in coastal and lake municipalities, paying special attention to the environment.
In 2020, 195 Blue Flags were awarded for 407 beaches, 15 in the Marche region.
